Head Coach | Jenny Jaggard

Head Coach Jenny JaggardJenny Jaggard was announced as the seventh head coach in Northwest Nazarene women's soccer history in December of 2024.

"I am very excited to join NNU as NNU's values and Christian mission are in perfect alignment with my life mission," said Jaggard. "In my interview process, I was really impressed with the close-knit Christian community at NNU and the way that they view athletics as a vehicle to holistically develop student-athletes.

"I am confident that this will be a great place for me to develop a competitive women's soccer program that embodies my coaching values of fitness (body, mind, and soul), teamwork, leadership and the pursuit of excellence. I am very thankful to Director of Athletics, Paul Rush, for giving me this opportunity."

Jaggard comes to Nampa after six seasons in Santa Barbara, California as the head coach of the Westmont College women's soccer program. She guided the Warriors to incredible success during her tenure, compiling an overall record of 68-24-16 (.704) and four conference championships across the six seasons.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome Jenny Jaggard as the head coach of our women's soccer program," said Rush. "Jenny is the spiritual leader, mentor, and coach we were looking for when we started this process. The ability to bring in an experienced head coach, one that knows what it takes to build a successful program and win both in the regular season and postseason, will be wonderful for our Nighthawks family!"

Jaggard's Warriors were an NAIA powerhouse between 2019-2022, winning all four GSAC titles during that stretch prior to Westmont's transition into NCAA Division II in 2023. In her first season in 2019, she led the team to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championships. In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, the Warriors went 6-0 in GSAC play to earn the conference's national tournament berth. Westmont also won conference titles and earned NAIA tournament berths in 2021 and 2022, reaching the quarterfinals of the 2021 tournament and the third round of the 2022 tournament.

Prior to Westmont, Jaggard also spent five years as an assistant coach at Chico State, where the Wildcats reached the NCAA Tournament in both 2017 and 2018. Before that, she served seven seasons as the girls' soccer head coach at Douglas High School in Minden, Nevada, winning a pair of DI State Championships in 2009 and 2010 and a runner-up finish in 2013.

"Jenny represents the priorities of our athletic department in how she pours into the lives of her student-athletes, gives back to the community, and pursues National Championships," added Rush. "We are blessed to have her join the Northwest Nazarene Community!"

Jaggard holds a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Science from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Southwest Baptist University, where she competed as a student-athlete on the women's soccer team.
